The track was built for the 2005 and 2006 World Cups. At the 4X, four bikers start at the same time and fight for the top position, because only the fastest gets to the next round. It is packed with jumps, berms and washboards.

UCI has removed this discipline from their racing program. That's why the MTB ZONE Bikepark Willingen is developing new plans for how this route should be used in the future.

In the lower area, the route connects to the downhill.
